I have decided to create a new blog for me to have a general moan about many things I find wrong with the world. Perhaps it is just a fact of getting older but I feel very pessimistic about the future for the World. The planet is hopelessly over populated but it seems that no one wants to face up to this as a problem. The UK has a net annual immigration of 260,000 and this does not take into account the unknown numbers of illegal immigrants who slip in in the back of a lorry and then disappear. Our economy is in a mess and nothing serious is done to correct it. If I ran my own economy in the same way that the government runs its, I would be thinking of suicide.
I will try to keep up a flow of articles and try not to be too depressive. I wanted to call this blog Depression — or something similar — but all options had already been swallowed up. So I am reduced to a cryptic tagline
